How is my fee calculated?

The amount you pay is decided by your dentist. For Denplan care patients, your dentist will complete an initial assessment, looking at your current oral health and how much dental care and treatment you will need in a year. There are 5 categories, depending on your oral health, which will determine the monthly fee you pay. For Denplan Essentials patients there is no initial assessment and the fee you pay is based on the combination of treatment included in your plan.

How will my fee be paid?

The majority of patients pay their fee monthly by direct debit. There is an option to pay annually by cheque or credit card if preferred

Are there any exclusions?

Your fee does not include any laboratory fees for the production of crowns, bridges, dentures or any specialist treatment not normally covered by routine general dental practice such as orthodontic appliance therapy. Full details are provided in condition 3 of your Denplan contract. A copy is also available from the practice.
