Associate Dentist Job Specification
Confident and Motivated Dentist Wanted in Northamptonshire to replace a colleague departing for specialist training.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated dentist to join our clinical team at our Weedon practice. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate who has just finished foundation training or who is relatively newly qualified with up to 5 years of experience as the position provides an excellent chance to enhance your clinical skills by catering to our NHS patients but also to provide private care.
Our team consists of dentists, dental therapists, a practice manager, and both qualified and trainee dental nurses. The principal, who has served as a foundation trainer for 15 years, works at the practice three days per week. Our dentists have a wealth of experience and each has an interest in a wide range of dental specialties. These include dental implants (from single units to full arch), orthodontics (both fixed and aligners), facial aesthetics, snoring devices, composite bonding and non-surgical and surgical periodontics
The practice has recently undergone significant refurbishment including the provision of air conditioning. The surgeries have access to intraoral cameras, there are two intraoral scanners available and digital x-ray units in each surgery.
The ideal candidate must possess a solid foundation in basic restorative care, with a desire to expand their knowledge and skills. They should also possess a vision to foster lasting relationships with patients while forging new connections. While a portfolio of cases or photographs is desirable, it is not essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for treating NHS patients, with ample opportunity for private growth in our affluent area.
We are offering a 4-5 day work week depending on your circumstances. You will have the support of our team of experienced and friendly colleagues, including, as mentioned, our principal who is a foundation dentist trainer.
