SavingSmiles

Given the outbreak and spread of Coronavirus, we want to keep you informed of our position at the current
time and share some tips.
We would like to stress that we value all our staff and patients, and their wellbeing is our main priority.

Clinical sterilisation and disinfection procedures are very high in the practice at all times.  We have also increased disinfection of non-clinical areas, door handles, bathrooms and public areas in the practice.

Actions we are taking:
 Thorough, regular housekeeping and cleaning, especially in higher risk areas in our surgeries, toilet and
waiting area facilities.
 Extra employee training on cleaning, general hygiene and hand washing.
 Posters highlighting hand washing and other advice being placed around the offices.
 Continual monitoring of government information.

Actions you can take:
Do
 Wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds
 Always wash your hands when you get home or into work
 Use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available
 Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze
 Put used tissues in the bin immediately and wash your hands afterwards
 Try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell
 follow the advice from the NHS.

Don’t
 Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean

The situation is being reviewed daily and we shall continue to follow the Public Health
England guidelines.
