Keeping up with our Saving Smiles tradition of raising awareness for local and national charities, Dr Shah and his family participated for the 5th year running at Cycle for Cynthia Holdenby House on 17th September 2023.

Cynthia Spencer Hospice provides specialist palliative care services for West Northamptonshire.
“Cynthia Spencer does so much fantastic work locally giving care to those who need it most. Making a difference to the lives of patients and families throughout Northamptonshire, so it’s great to be able do our part in supporting them.”, said Dr Shah.

This year, the team did not have much practice time set aside leading up to the event. But there was no shortage in determination and will to complete the two of the most challenging distances of the day.
Dr Shah along with his two younger sons ages 6 and 9 completed 25 miles in 3.5 hours. Whilst his eldest son and wife achieved 50 miles in 4.5 hours.

Cynthia Spencer Hospice Charity raises money through such organised events throughout the year. They are dependent upon the generosity of supporters and can only continue to support the care given because people carry on donating.
